Finished the back-breaking task of moving all of my Agatha Christie books to one of the writing room cabinets. At the very least it took the rain's chill from my body. Some of these books date back to my college days and were still covered with protective plastic like my former textbooks. I had to take them off one by one.
My collection is quite extensive, I think. I have editions in which old titles were still used (why they were eventually changed I have no idea). I even have an anthology of her plays, one autobiography, one biography, and a couple of her novels written under the nom de plume Mary Westmacott.
Rereading Hallowe'en Party tonight. One of my favorites, and the DVD, which my sister Sylvia sent me two years ago, is set in the pouring rain with lightning and thunder.
